Ghajini celebrates again

It was celebration time again for Aamir Khan, who's recently released Ghajini has raked in Rs 200 crore in just 14 days. Buoyed by the box-office collection of Ghajini, Aamir said it indicates the success of a film. ''For me, the feeling that my hard work has been appreciated is priceless as I go by my instinct while choosing a script. When I hear a script, I react as an audience.''

Aamir's Ghajini to cross Singh is Kinng

Aamir Khan's Ghajini is expected to set a record of sorts. While the promotion of the film kick-started during Diwali, the Indian distributors, have decided to go that extra mile and ensure that the biggies rakes in big moolah when it opens during the Christmas week.

While Singh is Kinng was released with 1,050 prints in India, Ghajini will have close to 1,200 prints in circulation in India alone.

"Ghajini will be the biggest and widest release ever, breaking the record set by Singh is Kinng, which was also distributed by us," Aman Gill, Director, Domestic Theatrical Distribution, Studio 18 divulges

Aamir Khan's date with Swedish princess

Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria, who also happens to be the apparent heir to the prestigious throne of Sweden, had invited Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, for an exclusive dinner with her during her ongoing state visit to India.

Since the princess had seen Aamir's masterpiece Taare Zameen par, which is India's official entry to the Oscars, she was highly appreciative of the film. "It is a privilege to receive a special invitation like this," said Aamir.

Aamir was accompanied by his wife Kiran Rao. As it was time to bid farewell, Aamir gifted Princess Victoria an antique lithograph (sketches of India during the colonial period), while she gifted him a DVD collection of the legendary Ingmar Bergman's films.
